Consultant - Business Excellence - Mfg

- The candidates needs to have work experience in the operations domain - specifically manufacturing. or industries like Metals, Chemicals, Cement, Engineering, Auto & other consulting firms

- The individual will be responsible for carrying out analysis related to engagement requirements to support teams working on assignments ranging from conceptualization and implementation of business strategy to business planning, process re-engineering and cost reduction initiatives

- The individual should have relevant work experience in a manufacturing related environment [viz; either worked on a manufacturing excellence project / been a part of internal business excellence consulting teams / worked in line / staff function in a manufacturing organization.

- Knowledge of management methodologies like Six Sigma, Lean, Total Productive Maintenance [TPM], TOC, TQM, Asset optimization

[hands on implementation with at least one or two methodologies will be an added advantage]

- Individual should be well versed with data analysis using excel. A working knowledge of quantitative analysis tools such as Minitab/SPSS/SAS is preferred.

- Certification such as Green Belt / Black Belt is preferred

- The ability to analyze financial statements, and provide a point of view / insights

- Problem solving skills to meet client needs using a blend of intuition and analysis, ability to multi-task and have a balance between strategic and operational focus

- Good communication skills, business writing and presentation skills both oral and written that help to promote clarity and also present persuasive options.

- The individual should be able to interact with the clients across levels and work in teams.

- Willing to travel and work out of remote client locations
