Consultant - Automotive/Industrial Equipments/Infrastructure Domain - IIM/MDI/FMS/ISB

Key responsibilities of the role :

Project Delivery :

- Ensuring high quality and in time project delivery

- Work with small to medium-size teams to deliver projects for global clients

- Independently handle project work stream, with limited supervision

Industry Expertise : Develop strong Automotive / Industrial Equipment / Infrastructure industry expertise. Develop deep skills and experience in Supply Chain function

Domain Development : Development of assets and methodologies, development of point-of-view, research or white papers, support development of marketing collateral, public speaking and publication in industry periodicals.

Key Competencies and Characteristics :

- Ability to help clients develop strategies and operating models that integrate planning, procurement, product design, manufacturing and fulfillment functions within an organization, as well as connect suppliers and customers across the extended supply chain.

- Possesses excellent communication (written and oral) skills and excellent presentation skills

- Comfortable working at the highest levels of client organizations

- Comfortable functioning in a broadly positioned and highly diverse consulting firm

- Excellent team work and ability to work in distributed delivery environment

- Manages small teams and/or work efforts (if in an individual contributor role) at a client

Requirements :

- MBA from tier I B-school

- 4+ years of overall industry and/or consulting experience

- Should have worked in the Automotive / Industrial equipment/ Infrastructure or done extensive consulting within these industries with experience in developing and implementing integrated supply and demand planning strategies that improve cost efficiency, increase business effectiveness

Should have worked in any of the following areas :

- Manufacturing

- Demand Planning & Forecasting

- Material & Logistics Management

- Strategic Sourcing, Procurement & Vendor Management

- Should understand and have an exposure to

- Supply chain process transformation

- Achieving Operational Excellence

- Network Optimization & Modelling

- Should be skilled in using MS Excel, MS Access and MS PowerPoint

- Should have managed small teams and project delivery experience

- Working knowledge of supply chain tools will be a plus
