Consultant/Assistant Manager - Procurement - ARIBA (2-10 yrs)
- Deep understanding of Procurement related processes including Procure-to-Pay (both upstream and downstream), Contracts Management, Supplier Management, Category Management, Spend Analysis etc
- End to end implementation of procurement technology projects including design, configuration, testing, post go-live support, reporting, training
- Coordinate with onsite engagements teams and clients to gather requirements, develop workplan, determine expectations and finalize deliverables
- Perform project staffing activities as per workplan and manage budgeted hours for resources (on-going)
- Ensure quality project delivery of engagements led by self and those that are executed by direct reportees
- Effectively guide junior staff and manage escalations
- Support pre-sales activities, which includes: responding to RFPs; attending client orals; determining project staffing requirements and options (level mix); etc
- Collaborate with other service networks to solicit services required for success of the client engagement
- Support practice development initiatives, which includes knowledge management, point of view development, services standardization, etc
- Understand the overarching objectives of the practice, and help develop short-term and long-term strategy
- Implementation experience of upstream and downstream processes/modules, Network enablement, Ariba Contract Compliance
Required
Education / professional qualifications
MBA from a reputed college Prior Experience:
The candidate must have 4-7 years of relevant experience in a similar role, particularly in a professional services firm / consulting / Big 4 / Financial Industry.
Experience & Background
- Deep understanding of Procurement related processes including procure2pay (both upstream and downstream - P2P, S2C), Contracts Management, Supplier Management, Category Management, etc
- Strong analytical and critical thinking acumen
- Experience implementing procurement related applications such as Ariba, Coupa, Ivalua, SAP SRM, etc
- Prefer Consulting background, global consulting experience - e.g. North American Region (NAMER), EMEA
- Experience operating in Shared Services or offshore-onshore teams
- People management experience
- Presales support experience
- Ability to perform in a fluid changing environment (consulting) with minimal supervision.
- Certifications/Trainings: PMP (plus), Lean, Six sigma and any other process/procurement methodology trainings
- Ariba certification would be a plus
