Consultant - Actuarial - Non-Life Insurance (1-8 yrs)

The primary responsibilities are:

- The resource would be a member of the Actuarial Services team and would work in close collaboration with teams in entities

- Supporting on multiple analytics projects for Non-Life insurance related to Pricing/ Valuation/ Claim Analysis and other Actuarial Projects for the team.

- Working on all the aspects of actuarial projects involving pricing, SAS analysis and final presentation

- Pricing of Motor & Household portfolio for retail line of business using tools like, EMBLEM and RADAR

- Regular client interaction to understand their requirements and transforming them into a solution framework

- Become a trusted partner for entities - engage for capability showcase including visiting entities for opportunity assessment, discussions and piloting solutions

Qualification required:

- Graduate/Post Graduate in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, BE/B.Tech/ ME/ M.Tech

- Student Member of Actuarial Society (IAI/IFoA/CAS/SOA) preferrable

Technical skills required:

- Experience in actuarial tools like EMBLEM / RADAR/ other actuarial tools

- Knowledge of analytical tools like SAS/R/ VBA/ SQL is desired

- Good understanding of P&C concepts- Pricing, Reserving and Valuation

- Strong knowledge of insurance business and Actuarial techniques

- Well developed analytical and problem solving

Soft skills required

- Good communication and strong interpersonal skills and ability to interact with stakeholders & auditors

- Excellent technical, analytical and problem-solving skills

- Strong Business acumen and interest in the entire insurance value chain

- Good presentation, communication and inter-personal skills

- Strong team player and influencing team / stakeholders positively
