Senior Associate/AVP-Transaction Services (1-4 yrs) Hiring for Transaction Services -M&A, Capital Raising & Diligences

Role:

- The incumbent will be required to work extensively on ideas, financial modelling, pitch books, restructuring and presentations across sectors

- Support by performing financial valuation, pitchbooks, structuring transactions

- Acquire in-depth understanding of client needs and the market, industry and business environment. This understanding enables the firm to design customized solutions for clients -whether it is strategic initiatives like M&A, Equity Fund Raising, financing, structuring or risk management solutions

- The incumbent will work on a very wide variety of transactions including capital raising from Venture Capital & Private Equity firms, M&A, and diligences

Duties & Responsibilities:

- Analyses of financial statements & businesses, building and interpreting financial & business models; preparing presentation materials and participating in deal pitches & executions; conducting industry and product research - Overtime creates enough understanding of the sector to identify new business opportunities

- Carrying out financial modeling (using techniques including relative valuation analysis, LBOs, DCFs, merger plans), and developing and presenting appropriate pitchbooks to senior bankers

- Transaction/Deal specific:

- Deal Sourcing

- Deal evaluation and scanning-Review and/or preparation of deal collateral including Information Memorandum, Financial Models-Play a key role in deal negotiation with investors and clients/companies/clients-Work with other advisors, valuers, legal teams etc. for closure of transactions-Support the senior members in business development for sourcing new transactions and clients for the firm

- Identify and engage with potential investors -VC/PE/Strategics

- Assist the team in financial due diligences and earn-out assessment engagements

- Will also be required to: undergo continuous learning and enhance job specific skills over-time may be required to travel as per business needs

- Taking ownership of work done and having high execution capabilities

Qualifications:

- CA/ACCA with apprenticeship/article ship experience in a Big-4 or large accounting firm or an MBA from a Tier 2 business school. Experience in Financial Advisory is an added advantage to have

Skills/Experience:

- Good financial modeling skills

- Excellent quantitative and analytical skills

- Highly proficient at Excel, PowerPoint and Word

- Strong accounting, finance and business writing skills

- Good at multitasking -Good interpersonal skills

- Eye for detail
