Compliance Officer - BFS (5-13 yrs)
Key responsibilities Accountabilities
Business Outcomes
- Analyze Insurance regulation risk based upon the Regulatory Risk Assessments
- Liaison with IRDA
- Prepare practical work programs that effectively test compliance with the applicable regulations of the SIBPLs operations
- Conduct compliance reviews to determine the effectiveness of the compliance program in an effective and timely manner
- Assess and challenge whether the control framework meets regulatory expectations
- Track the status of issues identified during reviews, assess the actions taken and ensure they remediate the risks
Risk, Process & Compliance
- Prepare detailed workpapers to support the results of the review
- Report and present findings and observations
- Develop draft report of review results
- Complete monthly governance reporting
People
- Ensure establishment of goal setting and targets along with periodic reviews to achieve the objectives of the function
- Attend all the mandatory trainings required to meet the requirements of the role
- Any other additional responsibility could be assigned to the role holder from time to time as a standalone project or regular work.
