Compliance Manager - IT Startup

We are currently working with a leading IT start-up that works on cutting edge AI and ML to develop customer solutions. This is well funded start-up backed by industry stalwarts and trying to solve some key problems using AI/ML.

We have a very interesting role for a Compliance Manager. This role will work closely with the Compliance Head to conduct internal audits to ensure that all compliance procedures are followed. This is not a role for following one particular standard but rather to take a 360 degree view of compliance in the organization. The person will work as a single point of contact for all compliance related issues and communicate non-compliance or irregularities. To fit the bill, you must have the following:

- Minimum 3 to 6 years of IT Security compliance experience.

- In-depth understanding of 2 or more compliance requirements under ISO 27001 & 22301, PCI, HIPAA and SOC.

- You must be a BE / B. Tech and MBA (Informational Technology) from a good B-School.

The role would include:

- Be a SPOC for all compliance issues for internal and external stakeholders.

- Identifying compliance issues, maintaining documentation and providing support that require follow-up or investigation.

- Verifying that necessary checks are in place to adequately provide oversight and monitoring in all required areas. Documenting KPIs for identified areas.

- Managing monthly and quarterly physical and logical access reviews required as per various ISO, SOC, PCI and HIPAA compliance requirements.

- Verify that all firm and regulatory policies and procedures have been documented, implemented, and communicated.

- Modifying as need be and disseminating written policies and procedures related to compliance activities with help from external and internal stakeholders.

- Consulting with corporate attorneys as necessary to address contractual and legal compliance issues; developing and implementing a plan to ensure compliance.

- Providing employee training on compliance related topics, policies, or procedures.
