The North America Compensation Specialist is primarily responsible for driving and maintaining cross-DTE reporting/analytics and tools to support the end-to-end compensation processes and projects. Apply compensation knowledge, analytical and problem-solving skills to build new/ad-hoc reporting tools and innovate to continuously improve processes to meet expectations of NA HR and Leadership teams in collaboration of NA Compensation Onshore and Total Rewards CoE teams.

Collaborate with Onshore team to provide support to the HR and Leadership teams in US and Canada across all business entities in compensation specific activities.

1. Process Responsibilities: Apply knowledge/skills to support tasks related to all 3 Compensation disciplines - Market Intelligence, Rewards Planning and Compensation Administration.

A. Rewards Planning:

- Budget cost - in-depth- modeling for annual and mid-year comp cycles.

- Planning data submission to Global/Finance teams using PoV and TRPC tools, includes pre/post TRPC data analysis and reporting.

- Run reconciliation of TRPC versus Comp tool.

- Standard/periodic reporting and analytics.

- Year-end annual reporting and analytics.

- NA Comp Scorecard delivery on quarterly basis.

- Annual activities - update local comp guidelines, salary ranges, merit/promotion metrics, etc.

- Execute ad-hoc reporting for special projects.

B. Market Intelligence (MI):

- Survey participation process including job matching guidelines review/update, data submission to the vendors and market data procurement.

- Download data from internal databases and from vendor websites.

- Position to Market (PTM) reporting and analytics.

- Attend webinars conducted by vendor companies.

- Process/track Invoice payment for survey participation fees.

- Execute ad-hoc reporting for special projects.

C. Compensation Administration:

- Support in Mid-Year and Annual Compensation cycles.

- Complete data requirements gathering, file validation/submission and testing processes for Compensation Tool.

- Data/files management and reporting.

- Go-Live Compensation tool support and post closure activities.

- Tracking and reporting of Off-cycle Adjustment of Compensation and Quarterly Real-Time Promotions.

2. Operations Management:

- Collaborate with onshore/offshore teams daily to meet deadlines and produce high quality deliverables.

- Ensure high quality work and meet deliverable requirements/targets/timelines.

- Proactively escalate issues to supervisor that may impact the completion or quality of the deliverables.

- Exhibit Business acumen and effective time/work management.

3. Stakeholders Relationships Management and Satisfaction:

- Contribute to strengthen/expand stakeholder relationships.

- Assist in applying all new measures to enhance stakeholder satisfaction.

- When relevant, interact with the stakeholder and escalate issues as needed.

4. Process/Procedure Improvement:

- Adhere to standard internal procedures to improve the quality of services provided to the customer.

- Proactively propose process improvements by providing implementable solutions to manage process delivery and team dynamics.

- Assist in the creation/update of on-going process training materials and documents.

5. Teamwork:

- Share knowledge/best practices with team members relating to own specialization.

- Exercises consistent judgment and discretion with work directly related to general operations of the business.

- Provide assistance to team and stretch as and when required.

- Minimum of 8 years overall

- 3-5 years of previous experience either in HR/Total Rewards/Compensation & Benefits or HR/MIS Reporting & Analytics

Must Have Skills:

- Strong skills and experience in Data Analytics and MIS Reporting

- Fair knowledge of HR/Total Rewards/Compensation & Benefits

- Advanced skills/knowledge of Microsoft Excel, VBA and Access

- Structured analytical thinking skills and evolve in this environment

- Ability to proactively innovate and apply skills in problem-solving solutions

- Good communication skills (both verbal/written) - should be fluent in English

- Good business acumen

- Process and Result oriented both

- Basic time/work management skills

- Customer service focus

- Good Stakeholder management skills

Nice to Have Skills:

- Understanding of business practices and work culture

- Experience of working in huge/complex database

- Ability to work in a virtual environment

- Willing to work flexi hours during critical periods

- Sensitivity to diverse cultures

- Microsoft Sharepoint designing and administration
