Compensation & Benefits Manager (6-10 yrs)
Compensation and Benefits Manager, India
We are looking for a Compensation and Benefits Manager in-country to collaborate on determining best practices and market competitive compensation and benefit offerings to help attract and retain employees.
The manager will work closely with business leaders to understand business objectives and goals, partner with talent acquisition and local HR to understand current market trends, and employee sentiment with regards to total rewards offerings. The manager will assist employees with benefit questions and help resolve benefit problems.
To be successful in this role, you should:
- Have good knowledge of labor legislation
- Ensure salaries and benefits comply with the current legislation about human rights and pay equity
- Be familiar with compensation methodologies and structures
- Be consultative to the business on appropriate compensation placement
- Keep track of prevailing pay rates and sharing information with stakeholders
- Able to manage compensation adjustments processes based on approved budgets
- Able to manage benefits vendor management of employee benefit programs
- Track compensation and benefits benchmarking data
Requirements and skills
- Experience as a Compensation and Benefits Manager or similar role
- Hands-on experience with HRIS or payroll software
- Knowledge of implementing compensation packages and bonus programs for various departments and seniority levels
- Excellent understanding of job evaluation and job analysis systems
- Good analytical skills
- Familiarity with labor legislation
- Experience with employee satisfaction surveys
- BSc in Human Resources Management, Organizational Psychology, Finance or relevant field
