The Company is one of the largest chemical manufacturers and is a part of a renowned Indian conglomerate.

Description

- Should have hands on experience in secretarial compliances for a public listed company

- Will be the point of contact for seeking legal opinions from the counsel/legal advisors of the company on important legal matters and advising the management on the necessary changes in regulatory compliances and legislation.

- Will be responsible for liasoning with various regulators like Registrar of Companies, Official Liquidators, Stock exchanges, SEBI, NSDL and CDSL and co-ordination with Statutory, Internal and Secretarial Auditors.

- Will be responsible for maintenance and updating statutory records and registers.

- Will be responsible for handling dividends and IEPF related process.

- Will be responsible for coordinating with RTA relating to shares and oversee its activities.

- Will be responsible for ensuring compliance under the SEBI regulations.

- Will be responsible for representing the company before various courts, NCLT, tribunals and other forums.

Profile

- Looking for a Company Secretary and law graduate with 5-10 years PQE having turnover base of minimum INR 100 crores.

- Should have sound knowledge of secretarial compliances and SEBI rules and regulations and Companies Act.

- Should have sound litigation experience.

- Should have excellent interpersonal skills.

- Preference will be given to professionals from the manufacturing industry.
