Company Secretary
Responsibilities:
Board Relations & Statutory Compliance:
- Maintain strong working relationships with Internal Board Members.
- Provide regular updates on the company's statutory compliance status.
- Schedule and conduct Board meetings in accordance with established guidelines.
- Ensure Board members comply with all statutory regulations.
Regulatory Compliance & Reporting:
- Collaborate with senior management to stay updated on changes in regulatory guidelines.
- Coordinate the timely submission of all statutory returns to relevant authorities.
- Monitor and report on compliance levels, identifying any potential gaps.
- Facilitate the filing of statutory and other required returns.
- Liaise with various regulatory agencies to provide necessary information.
- Generate and maintain Management Information Systems (MIS) for compliance purposes.
Process & Operations:
- Ensure strict adherence to all laid down processes and guidelines established by regulatory bodies.
- Identify and address any deviations from compliance procedures.
Learning & Development:
- Champion continuous learning and professional development for yourself and all branch team members on relevant compliance topics and certifications.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in corporate governance, regulatory compliance, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of Indian corporate laws, regulations, and governance best practices.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Proficient in research, data analysis, and report writing.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- A keen eye for detail and a strong commitment to accuracy.
- Certified Corporate Secretary qualification (CCS) or equivalent is a plus
