Commercial Manager
Job Purpose:
This position will be responsible for developing and executing strategic initiatives to drive revenue, profitability, and market share. This role involves managing commercial relationships, negotiating contracts, and staying abreast of industry trends and regulations to ensure the company's competitiveness.
Core Responsibilities:- To Prepare each project revenue & profitability statement by considering cost provision, material reconciliation, scrap sale, any other income, etc.
- To Monitor financial health of the project & ensuring systematic flow of operation
- Involvement with & support to sales team on commercial matters
- Risk analysis, verification & validation of PO/WO from customers
- Active engagement with customers on commercial matters & contractual correspondences, as required
- Support on agreements/legal matters as desired by the management
- Coordinate in preparation of Bank Guarantee (including extensions) and collection of expired bank guarantee
- Preparation of project insurance policies & timely budget vs actual performance in terms of booking, billing & collection on monthly basis
- Resolving issues with contracts and commercial operations
- Communicating with parties in a contract so that all understand the terms, particularly a contract's financial aspects
- Identify financial and contractual risks, develop risk mitigation, and implement contingency plans and strategies, making recommendations based on a thorough analysis of all factors involved in a business situation
- Developing, protecting, or upgrading firm procedures, regulations, or policies in a strategic manner
- Training employees on best practices for managing contract issues and handling daily issues and tasks
- Monitoring, review & control of outstanding & receivables from customers
- Controlling acknowledged copy of tax invoice to the client & maintaining summary of debtors as per due date of collection
- Monitoring & reporting - Billing & profitability of each project, cost over billing & collection, cash inflow & outflow and client's order towards extra/NT items
- Conducting periodic review meetings on each project
- Preparation of MIS & BBC reports timely
- Building excellent rapport with team members, vendors, internal stake holders by providing effective support
- Should have techno commercial bend of mind, collaborates across functions, Works successfully with diverse teams
