Job title: Managing Director/Head of commercial

Key Capabilities/ Knowledge:

- Deep knowledge of your client sector and their credit / investment requirements.

- Deep knowledge of credit products (preferably for SMEs).

- Proven track record of building successful teams from the ground up, building and managing small nimble teams that can develop ambitious plans and deliver high quality results.

- Track record of wide client coverage, relationship management and execution of complex projects with multiple stakeholders within financial services.

- Ability and contacts to build a customer outreach and relationship management programme that delivers commercial growth.

- Deep knowledge of statutory, regulatory and compliance requirements particularly around data protection.

- Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and customers.

- Strong presentational skills, both written and oral.

- Experience / ability to interact with and build client relationships.

- Proven ability to sell and execute profitable transactions.

- The Head of Commercial, India will be responsible for the commercial development of its global SME credit analytics platform and managing existing and new client relationships in India and eventually other markets and interface with Government of India Ministry of Finance and MSME among others.

- A proven track record of delivering sales growth whilst maintaining the company's core values with its clients is paramount. This strategic appointment and first time hire will be responsible for building up the team in India, manage new business development, domestic sales activities, including long-term planning and setting performance targets and ensure that the firm's technology platform continues to adapt to meet customer requirements. It is imperative that the person can identify and develop opportunities within the SME credit analytics arena, which will provide maximum impact for business growth.

- Business requires interaction at chief executive, CFO, and head of credit so the person needs to have gravitas and detailed credit knowledge to be convincing at both levels. It is likely that the successful appointee will currently be working in a similar role (i.e. at the head of a large division/managing director level) at a larger institution, looking to move to a more challenging and rewarding role.

- The role will involve frequent travel, as well as participation at events and trade shows.
