The company is a fast-growing FMCG company with a yearly turnover of 1200 - 1600 crores QUALIFIED CHARTERED ACCOUNTANT IS MUST REPORTING TO - HEAD COMMERCIAL FINANCE Role Purpose To influence decision-making; improve the understanding of business performance; delivering analysis and insight on business opportunities; providing options and scenarios for business decisions including commercial decisions. Key Activities Planning, Strategy & Financials: - Improving the impact and understanding of financial reporting on business performance - Partner with the business for overseeing and managing the continued development of budgeting, financial forecasting, and operating plan for the organization - Identify critical relationships for the organization from a commercial standpoint and build those relationships for a long run - Present financial performance, full year forecasts and budget variances including understanding financial opportunities and risk Operational/Functional: - Delivering analysis and insight on business opportunities; providing options and scenarios for business decisions - Providing effective commercial procedures, or initiating change, to ensure key operational, commercial and financial targets are delivered - Building partnerships and maintaining strong relationships with all business stakeholders - Provide commercial input into business reviews and potential opportunities - Deliver profitability analysis at product level and linkage to commercial decisions - Oversee the preparation of periodical budgets and reviewing reports of Budget Vs Actuals; using budgetary controls to prevent over spending & take corrective steps Policies, Processes and Procedures: - Challenge current ways of working, driving efficiencies and cost savings wherever possible - Identification of opportunity costs and efficiency opportunities and implement within authority levels - Understand the cost drivers of the business and providing insight to the non-finance members Key Stakeholders - CFO - Senior leadership - Finance and other sub department heads - Government and External agencies - Banks/Financial Institution/Regulatory Authorities - Internal and External Auditors
