Colt - Lead Analyst - Payroll & Compliance (5-8 yrs)
- To be the subject matter expert of Colt India payrolls and compliance matters
- Responsible for managing all day-to day payroll activities including co-ordination with the key internal teams as well as external payroll vendor to ensure an accurate and timely payroll on periodical basis in collaboration with the other Lead Analyst.
- Ensure that data is received and submitted in line with established payroll formats and deadlines to the payroll vendor
- Provide support with Full and Final settlement cases and compliance matters
- To be primary point of contact for employee queries in relation to designated payrolls
- Handle payroll closing activities
- Identify, investigate and resolve discrepancies in payroll records
- Establish process documentation with the help of Global Payroll Lead for the India payrolls
- Partner closely with the Finance Team to ensure accurate GL & tax reporting
- Provide advice on best practices on routine as well as complex payroll transactions while ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and internal policies.
- Assist & co-operate in any internal or external audits
- Work with other payroll team members in identifying and implementing process improvements
- Support the Global Payroll Director in designing consistent and streamlined processes in India
