JOB DESCRIPTION :
Job Title : Customer Supply Chain Manager
Location : Calcutta
Manager : National Logistics Manager
Manager's Manager : VP- Customer Service & Logistics
Objective :
- Member of Customer Development Team representing Supply Chain.
- To deliver on Service Levels to the customers of the company, at the lowest overall Supply Chain costs.
- To support the new initiatives at the front end of the Supply Chain.
Job Responsibility :
2.1 Demand Planning :
- Forecasting as per Business Planning Process of company
- Alignment with Branch sales team
- Timely communication to HO planning team
2.2 Stock Management :
- Stock Monitoring
- Prioritization & coordination through central planning cell
- Inter warehouse transfer (if required)
- MIS to branch sales team
2.3 Warehousing :
- Compliance to SOPs and standardization of CFA processes
- Maintaining high degree of stock accuracy
- Compliance to Financial processes/SOX
- Good Warehousing Practices
- Ensuring safety in warehouse practices
- Statutory Compliance - Sales Tax, Octroi, PFA, FDA, Local regulatory bodies
- Cost optimization
- Annual review of CFA compensation and negotiations
- Continuous review of distribution network and CFA performance and changes (if required)
2.4 Transportation :
- Ensure delivery of customer service within secondary freight cost budget
- Route Planning - Fixed Day Dispatch (FDD)
- Continuous review and reduction of transit times
- Timely receipt of PODs
- Performance evaluation of service providers
- Selection of service provider
- Reduce inter warehouse transfer cost
2.5 New Initiatives :
- Adopts newer concepts and practice to improve Supply Chain Performance
- Readiness for changing environment (Reconfiguration of warehouses post VAT/CST Changes)
Experience :
- 3-4yrs of experience in FMCG industry
Qualification: MBA/PGDM from premier B-schools
