JOB DESCRIPTION  POSITION DESCRIPTION  POSITION TITLE:- Customer Finance Manager - Direct Trade  FUNCTION:- Finance  DEPARTMENT & SECTION:- CDT Finance  MANAGER:- Associate Director - Customer Development Finance  MANAGER- S MANAGER:- EVP & CFO  LOCATION: - Mumbai  Job Purpose   Responsible for handling and monitoring Accounting / Commercial function pertaining to the Direct Trade Retail environment of the company.  Job Context & Challenges   To work as a key member of the DT CD Team to deliver all commercial Goals and KPI- s. Customer interaction and alignment with internal Direct Trade team.  Functional linkages   Internal:   Customer Development Team, Finance, Colgate Global Business Services  External:  Customers, Vendors and Agencies  Key Accountabilities (A collection of duties and/or responsibilities assigned)   Accountability- Related Activities  Profitability  - Responsible for monitoring and controlling, Accounting / Finance operations for the DT Team. Preparing and circulating monthly Standard Reporting Deck and sharing MT P&L with the CDT team and Leadership Team along with analytics and actionable recommendations to improve profitability   - Preparation of customer profitability reports & review of MT customer & consumer promos and its effectiveness (ROI Analysis).  Credit and Collection  - Controlling and monitoring of Accounts Receivables   - Ensure all accounts are paying on agreed terms  - Release of monthly ADP and DSO reports / Short payments and its recovery.  - Obtaining half yearly Balance confirmations from MT customers and Customer account reconciliations  GTN Spends   - Monitoring and Controlling trade discounts / schemes passed on to customers and claims processing of the same.  - Responsible analysing and reviewing effectiveness of promotional spends and ROI discipline and process  - Consolidation of monthly Activity planners and its funding.  Customer Related  - Engage with customers for resolution of all finance related issues. Also resolving any taxation related matters   - T&C discussion and agreements  - Participate in JBP meetings  NVOs  - Review and control of NVOs and expense account settlement  - Responsible for analysis of the actual spends vs budget on a monthly basis, compilation of monthly MIS for variance reporting.  - Compilation of documents relating to SOX compliance  - Review of customer creation and master data update  Market Hygiene  - Store and market visit in frequent intervals to understand the business  Experience  Essential:   FMCG Sales Finance experience  No. of Years of Experience required:   5-7 Years  Professional Qualifications & Training  Essential:   Chartered Accountant  Desirable:   CA & ICWA
