Make a difference by: - Build and maintain a robust self-service Data Platform- scalable data processing platform and frameworks for Analytics and Data team requirements - Hire, mentor and develop a high performing team to enable long term goals - Designing distributed Machine Learning Engineering Pipelines Working with platform engineering teams and also from external partners/public APIs - Govern the current data architecture and enable visibility for via taxonomy/data dictionary and query optimization working with the business, analysts and stakeholders to understand data requirements - 8+ years experience in data warehouse (Redshift, BigQuery, Snowflake, etc), data lake, and enterprise big data platforms - Deep understanding of real-time as well as batch processing big data solutions (Spark/ Kafka/KSql/Hive etc) - Data Modelling expertise with Redshift or Snowflake and databricks - Experience in gathering and processing raw data at scale including writing scripts, web scraping, calling APIs, writing SQL queries, etc
