About the Role: We are looking for Pricing and Supply Analysts who would be responsible for owning the coverage, competitiveness, density and relevance of prices for various logistics services provided by Cogoport on its platform. Most of the prices for international logistics are dynamic in nature and need to be smartly managed and updated as per the changing market scenario. You work will have a direct impact on organizational profitability and customer search fulfilment. Responsibilities: You would have following Roles and Responsibilities as a Pricing Analyst: Rate Coverage with Accuracy : - Ensuring that the prices are available on all the destinations which the customer or inside sales searches for on Cogoport. - Ensuring that accurate prices are available along with all the correct secondary data points.- Data Visualization of the existing content - Being able to- visualize the existing prices by querying the database and make data driven decisions to improve the rate coverage and accuracy. Supplier Performance assessment: - Based on the prices received from the Logistics Service Providers, assess their performance and identify the gaps in the rate coverage and density. Pricing across- different- Services: - Managing the pricing across 15 different logistics services such as Ocean exports, Air Freight, Trucking, Rail- Haulage, Custom Clearance etc- for all the locations where Cogoport has a presence. Supply Audits: - Schedule regular audits for the pricing data from rate management and Supplier Relations team to check the accuracy and provide feedback for improving the team performance. Coordination with- different teams: - Coordinating with the Supplier Relations team to enhance the rate coverage and competitiveness on the platform. - Helping Product and process teams, by- identifying areas of improvement, Creating and presenting process & product improvement reports. Qualifications: Educational Background: Master's Degree in Management or Master's Degree in Engineering or Master's Degree in Statistics Work Experience: 2+ years of Experience in Business Analytics or Business Intelligence functions. Past experience with similar role is a plus, but not mandatory. Knowledge and certifications: Certifications in Supply Chain and logistics would be a plus. Skill-set: - High- Analytical capability- and comfortable with visualizing and analyzing large data-sets - High- proficiency with SQL and MS- Excel is must.- Proficiency with other Analytical tools is a plus. - Strong internal stakeholder management and- influencing- skills- - Willingness to rapidly learn new tools and adopt new process management methodologies- - Superb recordkeeping, time management, organizational skills- and problem-solving skills.- - Ability to work under pressure and stressful situations / environment Our Core Values : Intrapreneurship: At Cogoport, you own and drive projects forward.
