Expectations from the Role: - Cogoport is looking for a seasoned procurement specialist for the spectrum of a wide range of services we provide at our platform and staying competitive. Always keeping ahead of the demand to cater the customers with a range of procured services including air freight, ocean freight, CHA, insurance providers and much more. Aiming to grow towards category expert and maintaining strategic relationships with the service providers globally to have the maximum coverage of offerings. 1.Optimizing the complete procurement process and ensuring compliance with the service providers 2.Strategising, planning &amp; projecting procurement needs on a monthly and quarterly basis 3.Identifying cost potential and most relevant options by leveraging the relationship with suppliers and demonstrating great negotiation skills 4.Elevate the supplier performance and help them expand the business to new trade lanes and geographies 5.Collaborating with the internal &amp; external stakeholders to resolve the issues and delays immediately 6.Deriving conclusions from channel partners feedbacks and contributing towards creating new product feature pipeline to reduce the gaps between customer needs and the product offerings Must-haves: 1. We as an organization are not seeking confirmation to anarchic education qualification, rather experienced professionals with goal orientation 2. 5+ years of proven record in driving results in logistic procurement/ supply chain management, relationship with service providers. 3. Understanding of the freight industry and prior experience working in domestic/ established organization will be preferred 4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills 5. Highly motivated and quick adaptability to a fast-paced work environment&nbsp; 6.Able to work in different time zones &amp; open to travel
