Job Description:


Roles & Responsibilities:


- Consult with product stakeholders to understand business drivers and translate them into functional and non functional requirements


- You will work with Product Managers to evaluate the Product Roadmap to identify features for development and identify the "definition of done" for each feature


- Lead robust, fast (through) inceptions (identify scope, value, solution) and Own prioritized actionable backlogs Manage scope and drive trade-off decisions in conjunction with internal/external stakeholders while balancing business requirements with technical requirements


- Elicit, capture, analyze, and document business requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and other technical documentation


- Work with the development team & provide walkthroughs, resolve queries & communicate details in a timely manner


- Attend standups, grooming meetings, estimation meetings, retrospectives, and other key meetings for the scrum team


- Identify blockers that will impact timeline, scope, cost, or other product variables and escalate to the appropriate stakeholders


- Build and maintain a strong collaborative relationship


Domain Knowledge Retail Payments


- Experience in Payments (Cards, Networks, Issuers, Acquirers)


- Experience in working on the entire Card Payments value chain i.e. Online Acquisition, Decisoning, Billing & Posting, Fraud & Dispute Management, Network Compliance & Regulation, Loyalty & Rewards, and Account Management & Services.


- Nice to have (optional) - Experience in working on Alternate Payments & Areas such as Wallets, BNPL, Cryptocurrency, Open Banking, IoT-based Payments, and New Payment flows.


Domain Knowledge Corporate Payments


- Experience in Payments message types such as MT / MX, ISO20022, and proprietary messages


- End-to-end understanding of the Payments lifecycle from Front to Mid to Back-office processing


- Experience working across geo-specific Payment types such as FedWire, CHIPS, BACS, Faster payments, SEPA


- Deep understanding/experience of Payments Clearing & Settlement mechanisms


- Experience in executing engagements in Liquidity, FX Processing & Cash Management


Thought Leadership:


- Independently research industry trends and support to shape innovative ideas and opinions for practice thought leaders


- Actively contribute to research, development, and authoring of consulting mindshare i.e. articles, whitepapers, and other collaterals via traditional and social media channels


Business Development: Support RFI/RFP responses and other business development opportunities as needed


Customer Relationship Management:


- Build and maintain trusted relationships with client stakeholder(s)


- Be seen as a go-to resource that the client wants to bring back for future engagements


Practice Development: -


- Draw conclusions from market/industry trends and client experiences to support the design and build of new go-to-market service offerings


- Support service line development and case study support through the gathering of industry best practices


Knowledge Management: Assist in creating client and/ or practice-related materials (deliverables, solutions, industry best practices, standards, and other knowledge artifacts) for Cognizants knowledge management repository


People Management: Actively support recruitment for campus candidates through pre-placement discussions Help to onboard and mentor junior associates; actively support their ongoing development; be known as a leader among peers
