Job Title: Pre-sales, Global Solutioning - Business Analyst Job Location: Bangalore/Chennai/Noida Job Summary: The role is part of the Cognizant Infrastructure Services - Business Development horizontal, catering to the North America customers and involves responding to RFPs, proposals etc. and working with the onsite Markets team. This might also involve short term travel to face customer during solution presentation, due diligence etc. This is not a delivery role and there are no shifts in this role. Responsibilities: - Own all Pre-sales activities for a portfolio [Accounts/ SBU/ Region (based on size of the BU)] - Lead solution detailing- and articulation process - Participate in RFP and proposal activities- creation of RFP response and PPT by bid management - Understand the problem statement (RFP/ RFI) by identifying missing information and guide Business development analysts in framing appropriate queries to ferret out the missing information - Identify relevant stakeholders for the deal - Own customer presentations by laying the framework and guiding the team to create the content - Set pre-sales standards and guidelines for the team - Manage the logistics and co-ordinate the responses leading to Bid Management in part - Ensure the bid costs are accurately forecast & managed - Establish & manage pursuit calendar - Manage internal governance - Solution/delivery/Business approvals and sign-offs are taken before submission of proposal To the customer - Assist the Business Development - Partner in conducting problem definition/ solution identification workshops for customers - Act as a reference point / SME- within the Business Development team for at least one Problem Domain and one Service Offering - Create and manage marketing collaterals such as Fliers, Statement of Qualifications, case studies etc. - Prepare, update and maintain the vertical credentials and case studies of completed projects. - Formulate re-usable bid components and use collaterals To achieve maximum utilization - Create and update reusable artefacts Requirements: Overall Experience: 4+ Years Mandatory Skills/Experience: - 4+ years of experience in pre-sales process - Discuss and understand the winning themes, SWOT and competitor analysis for the deal and prepare the opportunity overview for smaller deals - Experience in assisting business process and operational process mapping - Experience in Bid resourcing - Experience in structuring the bid - Templates / Formatting & Tools. - Must have knowledge of market trends and its relevance in order to seed appropriate newer Cognizant's offerings Desirable Skills/Experience: - Experience anchoring problem definition/ solution identification workshops - Should have strong consultative approach - Proficient in documentation and communication skills - Proficiency in analyzing business issues across various domains - Should be able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously Benefits: - Become part of a the - flag ship- success story - We go through enormous growth Organization driven by technology - We have a tremendous technology backbone Open, - can do- team spirit - Environment where you can make your own ideas reality.
