JOB TITLE : Zone Head - Finance

DEPARTMENT : Finance

JOB OBJECTIVES :

Lead the Zonal Operations Finance function with Gross Revenues of INR 3000+ Crore Business

1. Responsible for delivery of Zonal Operating Income Target

2. Ensure Governance and compliance to Company's Financial Policies and Processes including market and Asset controls

3. Support and Drive business through Financial Planning, analytics, Commercial decisions and identification of opportunities to drive and influence decisions on Revenue and PNL improvements.

4. Control and custodian of budgets for Key Spends - Discount, Marketing and Opex spends

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES :

1. Zonal Earnings : Responsible for driving and delivery of Zonal Operating Income Target (Earnings): leveraging levers of Volume, Revenue and Spends.

2. Control Discount/DME Budget : Manage discount and DME Budget of Rs.200+ Cr whilst driving processes thru IDAS and RGM tool. Taking decisions on Discount, DME spends with the objective of maximizing revenue and profitability.

3. Drive Revenue Growth: Drive revenue growth in line with Business Plan by influencing & taking decisions on Pricing, Mix, Category and effectiveness of Trade spend by leveraging RGM Tool and analytics.

4. Business Plan Development : Responsible for Strategic and Annual Business Plan and entire Financial planning process at Zone and developing alternative business case scenarios and monthly rolling estimates for the Zone.

5. Business Analysis : Identify and work on opportunities of Cost control/Savings; track rolling estimates; analyse impact of pricing decisions, efficiency of marketing and discount spends to get better business profitability; leverage key frontend execution metrics for optimum financial results. Work with cross-functional teams to minimize inefficiencies.

6. End to End Value Chain Management : Manage all Value Chain Partners - 600+ Distributors, 300+ Key Accounts, 2 Lac + outlets and ensuring strong co-ordination and collaboration with Shared Services and Corporate Finance.

7. Asset Control : Ensure Asset Control for 75K + Coolers in Market valued at Rs 250 Cr+ and Glass Management valued at 15 Cr+

8. Establish Decision Support System : Influence key business decisions with the objective of maximising business outcomes thru strong analytics, value chain Analysis, review of Customer and Key Account profitability and risk assessment of business proposals. Active participation in demand forecast to improve accuracy and minimise product losses. Drive optimum level of DSO.

9. Auditing and Compliance : Carry out market/distributor audits to improve processes around Trade Spends, IDAS Compliance, Cooler and Glass controls. Support internal and external audit teams in carrying out the audits at Zones; review the audit reports and take necessary action steps on points raised by the audit report to achieve better compliance.

10. People Management : Participate in career planning and developing of succession plan for key roles within the Zone; determine T&D needs and benchmark the productivity of Finance associates across the Zone to achieve high productivity and team morale.

JOB REQUIREMENT :

Minimum Education : CA

Minimum Work Experience : 10-12 years
