Capitalization/Decapitalisation of Assets : a) Review of CWIP and identifying the assets to be capitalized post confirmation from ZONE. b) Documentation of Capitalized Asset. c) Passing Accounting Entries in books of accounts. d) Ensuring proper Decapitalisation of Assets basis inputs and supporting documents from Users 2. Fixed Asset Register Maintenance : a) Record fixed asset acquisitions and dispositions in the accounting system. b) Reconcile the balance in the fixed asset subsidiary ledger to the summary-level account in the general ledger c) Assign Tag No to Fixed Asset. d) Ensuring proper adjustment in FAR basis Physical Verification report 3. Month End Activities : a) Review of CWIP. b) Depreciation Run. c) Track the completion of project costs into fixed asset accounts, and close out those accounts once the related projects have been completed. d) RFA Tracking. e) Review and update the detailed schedule of fixed assets and accumulated depreciation. f) Preparing Balance sheet review schedules for FA and AD, analyzing the same and cleaning up old balances if any 4. Balance Sheet Review and Clean-up : a) Preparing Balance sheet review schedules for FA and AD, analyzing the same and cleaning up old balances if any b) Cleaning up SL-GL reconciliation Items 5. Quarter/Yearly Activities : a) Capital Commitment Reporting. b) Unit visit for assisting in Asset Tagging/Physical Verification Of Assets. c) Cleaning FAR and books of accounts based upon the Asset Tagging/Physical Audit Report. 6 UGAAP/IGAAP/CAD Audit handling : a) Prepare audit schedules relating to fixed assets, and assist the auditors (IGAAP/UGAAP/CAD) in their inquiries within stipulated timelines b) Ensuring 100% compliance to SPP and Process Narratives so that there is no adverse observation in CAD Audit and FA is always a Risk-free area Reports To : Manager, Fixed Assets Job Requirements : Qualifications : B.
