description : Job Description Objective : Manage Discounts for General Trade which forms major part of the business by providing key insights through MIS and continuous engagement with Sales Team. Must have strong knowledge of the system and able to resolve issues by providing diagnosis and corrective actions. Title : Team Leader Finance â€“ MIS and Reporting Function : Finance Work Location : Bangalore Job Responsibilities : - Discount Control : Uploading discount for DSD/MEP operations across Karnataka Zone and monitoring in compliance with Discount Policy of the company - Monitoring MEP Primary discounting daily basis on budget vs actual spends and daily circulation STTS ledger to sale team - Discount Flash : Preparing &amp; circulation MIS on discount spends, which includes HVO periodic &amp; Spot, Key Accounts spends and Indirect Trade spends on a daily, weekly &amp; monthly basis to Management - Open Market Scheme (OMS) controls : Uploading the OMS schemes approved by the management on a regular basis and ensuring 100% compliance with commercial policy - Daily/Weekly MIS on the performance of Top billing aberration (High Volume Outlets, RETL outlets, Spoke outlets, WS outlets) to the concerned Sales team - Organizing Surprise Market/Promo &amp; HVO audits - Tracking HO supports on a regular basis and ensuring 100% claim during the month Job Responsibilities : - Monthly/Surprise visit to all the Distributor across Karnataka to ensure smooth operations at the distribution point (identification/resolution for issues) - Processing HVO/Upfront deals, which includes preparing Value chain for the proposed deal, comparison and analysis basis actual performance - Monthly MIS on ASM/GSM level Sales and discounts for all SKUs - Circulating Report to HO on Brand/Pack level Volume, GR &amp; discount for the month &amp; YTD reported number for all the Verticals ( Net landing, Discount Template, Business Mix, Liquidation etc..) - Amortization of prepaid expenses and MIS on slow recovery of upfront payouts. Commercial program payout validation every monthly/Quarterly - Monthly PFP outlets profitability analysis circulation to sales Team - Coordinating with FSS/payables team in processing Claims/upfront/contractual payments - MEP other expenses tracking and top sheet generation (MEPI, ROI, Fright/Spoke Margin, B/L Etc.) - Providing for DFR/Business related details to management PY-CY-BP Supervises : None Direct Reports : None Geographical Scope : Karnataka and Kerala zone Reports To : Manager - Finance Key Customers : Internal Customers : Sales Team / Supply Chain / Finance /IT/Transportation External Customers : Distributors, Retailers &amp; Auditors - Job Requirement Job Requirements : Qualifications : MBA or any equivalent PG in Finance Stream Experience : 3 to 5 Years of relevant experience in relevant industry, prior experience in Commercial Finance preferred Functional Skills : - Knowledge in Microsoft Office. - Expertise in Microsoft Excel. - Capable to learn internal ERP faster.
