Title: National Manager-RTR Function: Finance-Business Shared Services Work Location: Bangalore R2R Operational: - Ensure all financial close activities are completed timely and in accordance with corporate timeline, guidelines and policies. - Management of financial activities will include: - - Budget Management - Monthly and quarterly closing activities and reporting. This will include preparation of financial statements, Schedules and Statement variance analysis. - Preparation of monthly Balance Sheet Reconciliation in accordance with Finance Manual Policy and carry out investigation if any discrepancies noted. - Consistently review Fixed Assets Accounting and achieve no risk goal during audit. - Involvement in SOX Audit compliance & other internal/ external audit requirements. - Support financial controller in GAAP & local statutory reporting fillings. - Planning & coordinating with finance & business operation teams on financial data & report, transacting accounting entries, ensuring completeness & timeliness of entries booking. - Ensure accuracy, completeness, timeliness and data integrity of all financial data. - Support the delivery of timely and accurate general accounting work, government reporting and group reporting. - Work closely with O2C, P2P, TAX & RTR team and Corporate Team to ensure all month end deliverables are met. - Perform all other related tasks that may be assigned from time to time by the FSS Head Leadership: - Deliver training to team member as requested and assist with the induction of new team members to ensure understanding of activities and responsibilities. - Provide guidance to junior team members. - Independently able to research and resolve issues. - Promoting a team environment by assisting colleagues whenever necessary. Innovation: - Assist in decision support and financial analysis for the management to identify opportunities to improve the company's financial and operational performance. - Propose, lead, integrate and develop continuous improvements on accounting/close processes. - Work in various projects, in various capacities, as requested by Management from time to time. Requirements - Candidate must possess Chartered Accountant professional qualification. - At least 8-10 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position. (Preferably in Core FMCG environment). - Possesses strong analytical, problem solving and inter-personal skills - Possesses excellent attention to detail, self-starter, quick learner, independent and team player with ability to drive initiatives and change - Good communication and presentation skills. - Proactive and self-motivated with a high level of commitment - Able to work effectively in a team environment, high level of integrity, initiative and a sense of urgency - Operating knowledge of ERP systems (preferably SAP) - Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office application particularly - Excellent negotiation & communication skills in English Supervises: Manager (Asset Accounting) Direct Reports: 2 Grade (Internal Reference): Geographical Scope: Across HCCB Reports To: Associate Vice President & Head - Financial Shared Services Key Customers: Internal Customers: - Zonal Supply chain Team - Project Team / Planning Team - FSS Reporting Team (IGAAP & UGAAP External Customers: - Auditors - statutory and SOX Travel: 10% of the time
