Manager - Primary Logistics & Projects Description: Job Description Objective : 1. Driving execution strategy of Logistics (~ INR 400 Cr freight spend) to transformational level in terms of Right Sourcing, Capability development and Automation. 2. Driving RFI, RFQs, Agreement management and Vendor life cycle management for Logistics, Tertiary Packaging, Warehouse Automation, Truck buying and other associated services 3. Executing Logistics Procurement/Sourcing and Logistics Operations (Inbound, EXIM and Outbound)/ Automation/Packaging of Coca Cola Bottling Operations including Import and Export (Around 3.5 Lacs Full truckload in a year). 4. Execution of distribution network for Inbound (4 Lacs Tons of RM/PM) & Outbound (30 Lacs tons) of long haul and 90 Lacs tons of short hauls. 5. Handling Rake movement (BCN, Container and Parcel) for Raw material like Resin and Sugar 6. To support BSS/RTM/EXIM/Commodity team meeting adhoc requirements during the year 7. To analyze freight, spend, lane wise analysis, lever wise analysis & support in POV pipeline creation 8. To reinvent Logistics Network as per changing business scenario & introduce innovation in network by using optimization tool. Job Responsibilities: - Identifying, scrutinizing, and developing logistics partners for handling primary and inbound freight. - Generating Request for Quotation (RFQ) after thorough discussion with user function - Driving Productivity in Rates and Efficiency levers by right product sourcing - Driving change management in the company to leverage the innovative cost model every year - Driving Vendor management and Vendor development process - Resolve supply, quality, service and invoicing issues with vendors - Undertake any other ad-hoc duties as assigned and weekly / monthly MIS report circulation. - Ensure meeting & Monitoring of the SLAs and KPIs and manage systems and resources to assure quality of the services provided. - Handles issues and queries related to various spend across zones, escalate complex issues to Manager as needed for resolution. - Develop short term and long-term contract with vendors across categories to leverage bulk/scale buying opportunities Supervises: Direct Reports: None Grade (Internal Reference): 8/9 Geographical Scope: Pan India Reports To: National Head - Logistics Procurement Key Customers: Internal / External Key Customers: Supply Chain, Strategic Procurement (RM, PM & Indirect), BSS Procurement Internal Customers: Supply Chain, Strategic Procurement (RM, PM & Indirect), BSS Procurement External Customers: None Job Requirements: Qualifications: Postgraduate Experience: 3-5 years Functional Skills: Travel: 20%
