Manager - Packaging Innovation Description : ROLE - MANAGER PACKAGING INNOVATION KEY WORKING PARAMETERS : Scope, & Impact : - Responsible for driving innovation/renovation projects creating a network of vendors who will operate as innovation business partners. Identify, research and evaluate new developments or trends in beverage -related industries, technologies or materials (e.g., Packaging, equipment's, and processes). - Generate, document and execute a plan to select and/or develop technology including managing the change control process, in order to meet the project's specific objectives ( eg improve quality, deliver new products, optimize processes) - Capture information, assess it and make recommendations to company management (e.g senior technical management) about emerging business opportunities, technology capabilities to offer solutions to technical problems and/or affect the company's strategic direction. - Develop and implement comprehensive HCCB environmental packaging and packaging productivity strategies to support company and business unit planet objectives. Design, fabricate and evaluate/assess a working package, equipment or product prototype/sample against technical requirements, fit to concept or performance specifications (e.g functionality and operational feasibility) Core Competencies : - Drives Innovative business improvements: Develops new insights into solutions that result in organizational improvements, promotes a work environment that fosters creative thinking, innovation and rational risk taking. - Balances immediate and long-term priorities: Seeks to meet critical objectives while considering the impact of those decisions and activities on the ability to achieve long term goals.
