Job Description:
Objective: To ensure that staff and teams are in position to tackle compliance issues. To fully interpreting enforcement laws and supplying executives and workers with appropriate communication regarding such laws.
Title: Manager - Compliance
Function: Human Resource
Work Location: Bangalore
Job Responsibilities:
- Ensure that the service experience of employees provided through regulatory compliance is compatible with or above the goals
- Responsible for high standard on HR compliances at all the locations through automated processes
- Responsible for driving the conduct of various statutory and welfare committees at unit locations
- Periodic analysis of processes, records etc. to detect hidden risks or problems of non-conformity
- Ensuring and checking the reporting, execution, and communication of all regulatory HR policies and procedures
- Responsible for drafting processes, and procedures to improve on the compliance posture of the organization
- Conduct workplace rights audits for all mandated location under SGP scrutinize the nonconformity and guide the location HR and business teams to carry out corrective actions proposed.
- Work independently on assigned Disciplinary actions as I.O and as well investigate the human rights cases assigned and make written report it to the disciplinary committee for actions.
- Drive weekly calls to speedup domestic inquiry and grievance redressal forums.

Reports To: National Head - ER & Compliance
Key Customers:
- Internal Customers: Other sub-functions in the HR team, Legal team, PAC team
- External Customers: Lawyers, Government authorities and trade bodies
Job Requirements:
- Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in disciplines such as Economics, Law, Accounting, or Finance, or in another related field.
- Experience: 7+ years of experience in HR compliance-related relevant field or managing factory HR
Functional Skills:
- Good communications skills and confidence level
- Able to handle employee disputes, settlement, and legal cases independently
- Knowledge and experience on minimum wages, PF, ESI, Payroll, gratuity, bonus and other labor laws
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel, and other MS Office programs (Outlook, Word, Access, PowerPoint)
- A business acumen partnered with a commitment to legality
- Should be energetic and solution oriented
- Excellent interpersonal skills which enable ahead of compliance to work effectively with others
- Travel: 25% of the time
