Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic Cluster Head to lead and manage a team of wealth managers focused on serving high-net-worth individuals (HNI) and ultra-high-net-worth individuals (UHNI). The ideal candidate will bring extensive expertise in wealth management, with a focus on mutual funds (MF), equity, and other investment products, coupled with a proven track record in team management, client acquisition, and business development.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership and Team Management:

- Oversee a cluster of relationship managers, ensuring they meet individual and team targets for client acquisition, revenue, and asset under management (AUM).

- Provide mentoring, training, and motivation to ensure the team operates at its highest potential.

- Recruit, develop, and retain top talent within the wealth management segment.

Investment Advisory and Portfolio Management:

- Understand clients' financial goals, risk tolerance, and investment preferences.

- Provide tailored investment solutions across mutual funds, equities, structured products, and other financial instruments.

- Monitor and review client portfolios to ensure optimal performance and alignment with their objectives.

Strategic Planning and Execution:

- Develop and implement cluster-level business strategies to achieve organizational objectives.

- Establish short-term and long-term goals aligned with the company's overall vision and monitor performance against these benchmarks.

- Drive initiatives to strengthen relationships with existing clients and attract new HNI/UHNI customers.

Client Relationship Oversight:

- Serve as a trusted advisor for key clients, ensuring a high level of satisfaction and retention.

- Act as an escalation point for complex client queries or issues, resolving them promptly.

- Promote cross-selling of financial products and services to maximize client engagement.

Product and Market Expertise:

- Stay updated on financial markets, regulatory changes, and the competitive landscape.

- Provide insights and guidance on suitable investment opportunities in mutual funds, equities, and other financial products.

- Support the team in delivering high-quality investment advisory services based on market intelligence and portfolio management strategies.

Compliance and Risk Management:

- Ensure the cluster adheres to all NBFC policies and SEBI guidelines.

- Monitor transactions and processes to mitigate risk and ensure ethical practices.

Skills & Competencies:

- Deep knowledge of financial markets, mutual funds, equities, and other wealth management products.

- Strong leadership and team management abilities, with a track record of managing high-performing teams.

- Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with HNI/UHNI clients.

- Strategic thinker with excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational skills.

- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications and Certifications:

- Certifications: NISM Series V-A, Certified Financial Planner (CFP), Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), or equivalent.

- 5+ years of leadership experience in NBFCs, wealth management firms, or private banking.
