Role: Cluster Head / Manager Credit Risk Management

Location: Madurai / Chennai

Qualifications: Post graduates in Management or Law.

Job description:

Client requires personnel at the level of Team Leader in Credit Risk Management team on the rank of Asst Manager / Manger to be located at Chennai / Madurai location.

To head a team of recovery field officers.

To plan, allocate, monitor and deliver the budgeted recovery numbers.

Visiting/contacting borrowers for recovery of overdue accounts, managing accounts in delinquency, appraising defaulting cases and making suitable recommendations.

To use extensive risk analytics to focus on early warning signals in any particular customer segment, profile or geography and act accordingly.

To work in close coordination with the business & credit team to contribute towards the organisation's financial performance by providing an ongoing feedback.

To co-ordinate with the legal teams for inputs and related functional support.

To be able to handle emergencies and facilitate efficient functioning of the team. This would involve liaising with the police and other government officials.

Awareness of all regulatory and compliance requirements. Ensure compliance with established policies, procedures and internal controls to protect the organisation's interest.

Should be willing to travel and undertake extensive outdoor activity.

Work Experience: 8 to 10 years of experience in handling secured / unsecured assets collections in retail lending with a Bank / NBFC / HFC. Minimum 4 years of experience in managing a collections team of field executives as well as contact centre operations. Should be proficient in usage of computer packages.

Knowledge & Skills:

Excellent levels of customer service and interpersonal skills, with experience of managing difficult customer situations.

Analytical, problem solving and cost effective decision making skills.

Excellent communication, persuasive, negotiating and liaison skills.

Excellent oral and written communications skills (English & Tamil), including negotiating and presentation skills.

Ability to constructively challenge accepted thinking and methods by generating and embracing innovative ideas.

Should be proficient in usage of computer packages including MS office.

Age Group: Between 30 years to 37 years.
