Job Description :

Overall purpose of the job :

Underwriting of business proposals under retail agri and Agri MSME. Managing the underwriting team. Maintaining the health of the portfolio and delivery of the credit decisions within the TAT, Operations and Collections etc. Managing the Operations of the vertical at a branch and cluster level.

Key Performance Areas :

(a) Strategy :

- Monitor and guide Credit Team and operations team to ensure timely sanction of the credit proposals

- Suggest to the SCH and NCH on modifications and additions in the policies and processes of the vertical on regular intervals on the basis of the regulatory and market requirements

- Ensure the portfolio quality to minimize the NPA and credit losses

- Overall coordination of branches under the Cluster, for ensuring the quality of the portfolio

- Support in recruitment, training, retention and mentoring talents

- Remain updated market development and trend and apprise vertical head to maintain the hygiene in the portfolio.

- Stay updated on the recent changes in policy and regulatory guidelines and ensure the same is reached to all the stakeholders

- Laison with the internal and external stakeholders

(a) Achieving Operational Efficiency

- Timely intervention to ensure the quality of sourcing and minimizing the turnaround time

- Study and analyze the service quality by visiting / interacting branches and customers and recommend remedial measures.

- Follow up with branches on compliance of internal audit matters, monitor

- Coordinate with the collection team on timely repayment of the dues and interest.

- Provide the various reports and update on sales, collection and the quality of the portfolio.

- Any other tasks assigned by the Bank
