The Company is a leading e-commerce platform for the curation of highly desirable goods for purchase (B2C) combined with an enabling platform (B2B) for merchants to sell their products. The company has been able to crack the product market fit for both B2B and B2C business models to ensure sustained long-term profitable growth.

We aspire to be a billion dollar company by 2019, with hundred & thousands of retailers and over 20 million customers.

We are currently looking for a Category Manager to play a key role in one of very exciting, backed by great funding and promoters, E-commerce venture, based out of Gurgaon

Key Job Responsibilities -

- Understand and analyse the market positioning, identify offline demand, current trends and consumer psyche and create strategies to innovate consumer offerings and drive growth.

- To develop and implement category plans consistent with the FMCG category and within budget.

- To lead and manage the acquisition to listing activities of brands for the category.

- To ensure that the key metrics governing the health of the category are met.

- Review and analyse data to uncover market opportunities.

- Manage growth and P&L for the category.

- To ensure legal formalities (on-boarding/integration etc.) with brand partners/vendors to protect organizations interest.

An Ideal for this Position:

- Someone who has an in-depth understanding of the B to C space and someone who has previously worked in e-commerce industry or start up, specifically in the FMCG segment.

- Someone who have at least 5-7 years working experience in FMCG category.

- Experienced with brand management, sourcing, merchandising. Good at Business Analysis, promotion planning.

- Impeccable communication and presentation skills, Ensuring the successful day to day management of the work.

- Prefer at least 3 years in E-com company. Have strong Strategic and Business Analysis ability
