Founded out of Bangalore, we build Deep-Rooted.Co India's first Brand in the F&V space. We are looking for go-getters, who has to understand the perishables inventory handling, team handling skills require remote team handling. Managing 4 warehouses inventory check and handling Cash on Delivery.

About the Role :

We're looking for a Finance Manager to drive direction with the team and ensure viable financial solutions for our strategy and execution. In this role, you will be engaging cross-functionally to support business analysis and process management, as well as providing financial and strategic insights. The ideal candidate will be an independent, strategic, analytical thinker who is a strong team player (no job is too small or too large) and has an outstanding work ethic. The role requires the candidate to work from Office and not remotely.

Responsibilities :

- Facilitate and assist in the strategic planning and budgeting process to drive alignment of priorities across the organization

- Manage the company's financial accounting and reporting systems [to monitor progress towards goals]

- Develop and implement monthly operating reporting for founders, investors or the senior leadership to monitor financial performance, identify root causes of variance and provide recommendations for improvements

- Assist in preparation of Board of Director reporting materials

- Lead reporting and business partner team members, working alongside the operations organization to identify and implement an action plan for improvement of processes to increase the finance team's effectiveness

- Responsible for ad hoc financial analyses across the organization and initiatives to ensure datadriven decision making, such as business case analyses and financial justification for capital spend projects

- Manage the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close in time

Qualifications :

- Bachelor/Master degree with Finance and Accounting majors, CA Final / CA Inter

- 4-8 years of experience in accounting and/or financial modelling, preferably with a fast-growing company

- Experience working within a start-up environment is highly desirable

- Knowledge of preparing Balance Sheet / Cash flow and profit and loss accounts as per companies Act

- Knowledge of taxation such as GST, Income Tax, Financial reporting and data mining tools such as Tally, Access, SQL, etc.

- Hands on experience in tally accounting system, Handling accounts payable and accounts receivable

- Exposure and knowledge of statutory and tax audits

- Ability to synthesize large quantities of complex data into actionable information

- Ability to work and effectively communicate with senior-level business partners

- Proven ability to manage a team with competing priorities and provide level-headed guidance during unexpected events

- Strong demonstrated use of Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
