Summary of Responsibilities : Cloudtail seeks a Senior Business Finance Analyst to be a key business partner with the Retail teams. Cloudtail is continuing to expand its successful retail business and we are looking for a highly motivated leader who will partner the vendor management team and will be responsible for key business KPIs on In-Stock; working capital investment; Inventory Reserve for the business category. The successful candidate will be a self-starter who is comfortable with ambiguity, detail oriented and will possess the ability to work well with cross-functional teams including corporate finance; vendor management and category management teams; AR, Accounting, and software development teams. Job Responsibilities : Job responsibilities will include, but are not limited to :&nbsp; - Manage the monthly and quarterly close processes for our operations and retail accounting teams - Preparation of annual budgets and quarterly forecasts for inventory and Supply Chain Costs, inventory levels, obsolescence and transportation expense - Define and Operate SOPs and controls in stock delivery; vendor returns, liquidations and ensure accuracy in recording of these transactions; - Controls perpetual inventory stock counting and accuracy checks, processes and approves payment invoices, and investigates discrepancies and shortages to minimize overstocks and remove redundant and obsolete inventory - Provides routine management data regarding inventory performance, which involves evaluating and monitoring cost of materials. - Creates and maintains accurate written procedures for the primary inventory control functions and processes, ensuring accuracy and integrity of the stock management system implemented. - Implements improvement systems and processes to reduce inventory setbacks, while minimizing costs and maximizing working capital. - Accounting and analysis for assigned areas including transfer pricing - Manage and participate in accounting activities across several legal entities including intercompany elimination and consolidation - Driving efficiencies in business and accounting processes - Partnering with others in global accounting organization to maintain best practices - Developing relationships with business partners to understand operations and inform accounting implications - Coordinating with auditors for timely closure of statutory audit and Tax audit and communicate frequently with External Auditors and Regulators ensuring that entity is compliant with all applicable laws, pronouncements and regulations - Grow, develop, and mentor team members: Coach regularly, promote responsibility-taking, communicate expectations with clarity, ensure differences are resolved and share information Basic Criteria : - Successful candidates for this position should have the equivalent of 13-17 years of professional experience with financial accounting, reporting and internal control related responsibilities. - This position will have responsibility for supporting all parts of our financial reporting process relating to inventory and Supply chain and will be expected to understand internal control design concepts sufficient to assess the effectiveness of controls in their area.&nbsp; - Technical accounting research and ability to write position papers on different subject matters will also be an added advantage.
