- The Cloud Solution Architect will work closely with the client account manager, opportunity lead, bid manager, technical SMEs, as well as legal and commercial teams. Therefore, it requires a strong mix of technical, commercial, deal shaping & content expertise. Needs to shape a winning differentiated solution taking the different point of views into account.

- The Cloud Solution architect will require to have an understanding and contribute in includes proposal material, proposal orals, yellow pads sessions, business case and SOW contents.

ROLE DESCRIPTION:

 The Cloud Solution Architect is responsible for the following main activities:

- Understand the complete scope including Business need, Technical need, Compliance requirement and IT strategy roadmap of the client.

- Work with the global teams to ensure the appropriate specification of the infrastructure required for Solution development.

- Work with different SME's to reach the target state Infrastructure solution and its value.

- Vast experience in design and orchestrating solution for multi technology, multi-location and multi lingual scope deals.

- Lead design thinking workshop for joint solution development with client key stakeholders.

- Act as an integrator of Infrastructure, Application, 3rd party vendors and sub-contractor's solution.

- Own the solution for all infrastructure components with focus on public/Hybrid cloud on major Accenture outsourcing business opportunities with infrastructure component

- Architect a compelling and competitive infrastructure solution which demonstrate significant and quantifiable value to the client

- Leverage Accenture assets and third-party relationships in architecting solutions

- Bring operational experience to bear to ensure solution is deliverable at acceptable risk to Accenture

- Develop and negotiate contract content to ensure the infrastructure solution is contracted to deliver client and Accenture value

- Ensure solution is transitioned successfully into delivery

- Build strong links with and working collaboratively with different Accenture groups (e.g. Technology Consulting, Application Operations, Security) to ensure holistic solutions, transition and delivery

QUALIFICATIONS:

- University degree is a must

- Robust Public Cloud services understanding, ideally key public cloud provider certifications

- Excellent verbal and written communication

- Experience in architecting and/or transitioning significant infrastructure solutions

- Experience in leading solution planning teams

- Experience in IT infrastructure products and offerings including two or more from the list below:

- Wintel/servers: WIN, Linux.

- Cloud Platform: AWS, Azure, Google Cloud.

- Midrange: HP-UX, Solaris, and AIX.

- Network: Cisco, Novell.

- Storage: IBM, HP, EMC, HDS SAN and Backup Solution.

- Hypervisor: VMware, MS Hyper-V

- Strong project management skills and associated experience in Information Technology Outsourcing. Includes experience with industry standard project management methods and tools.

- Excellent client / customer relationship management skills at the executive level

- Extensive client / customer service management skills

- Good people management skills

- Strong oral and written communication skills

- Willingness to travel

- Overall 12-15 years of work experience.
