Cloud Architect - SaaS/PaaS/IaaS - Airlines

Job Summary : 

Contributing to Emirates Group business mission, by defining structural and behavioral aspects of cloud and its systems in the areas of SaaS/PaaS/IaaS, to enable and guide the development and implementation of cloud-bases solutions, services, in alignment with business strategy.

Job Details : 

Location : Dubai, Dubai (1 Openings)

Shift Timings: 7:00 am - 3:30 pm (day shift)

Weekly Working Days - 5 Days

Off Days: SAT, SUN

Note:42 hours a week. Need to complete 8.5 hours daily.

Salary & Compensation - open Salary (annually)

Degree or Honors (12+3 or equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, or an equivalent IT related discipline or equivalent experience. -

Experience : 12 years to 15 years of experience as Architecture mandatory

- Experience and solid understanding of cloud / networking architecture (ExpressRoute / VPN/Direct Connect)

- Experience with Windows and Linux-based operating system configuration, automation and management

- Experience with Azure and 3rd party monitoring tools

- Cloud Certifications from key Cloud Service Providers

Age 28 - 45 yrs

Job Description : 

Experience in developing technology strategy and roadmaps across infrastructure layers using SAAS, IAAS, & PAAS services a must, Azure preferred.

- Understanding of TOGAF, SABSA, IASA, Zachman and other Enterprise Architecture frameworks.

- Knowledge of cloud security architecture and design

- Understanding of industry standard development methods (e.g. RUP, SCRUM)

- Understanding of ITIL Framework.

- Architecture and Technical leadership experience

- Understanding of Architecture Methods, Principles and Patters.

Key Responsibilities : 

- Lead the implementation of Cloud strategy, architecture, governance, and roadmap

- Lead the development of Cloud Reference Architecture and Cloud Operations, with key cloud patterns and mechanisms

- Lead the architecture for Microsoft Azure, including - App Service, App Service Environment, SQL Database, Storage, Functions, Azure AD, Backups, Azure DNS, ExpressRoute, VPN, Virtual Networks, ADFS. As well, as Amazon AWS and other Cloud Service Providers.

- Create best practices for cloud operations and be consultative to project teams throughout duration of a project

- Analyze and design controls to secure public/private/hybrid cloud deployments

- Create application design and deployment patterns & reference architectures for public, private, or hybrid cloud deployments

- Design and govern an enterprise wide Cloud architecture in line with the organization business strategy, regulatory requirements and security policies

- Perform and Lead migration from on-premises environments into Cloud

- Work closely with other architects within the team to ensure alignment with Cloud strategy and architecture.

- Help guide business units to implement suitable Cloud-based solutions for their needs while adhering to standards and policies.

- Deliver Cloud architectural artifacts during projects lifecycle

- Identify potential areas of improvement in the Enterprise wide Cloud Capability Technologies

- The Cloud architect should have qualified to work with the following technologies: Microsoft Azure Cloud Infrastructure (Azure VMs, Azure Kubernetes Services, OMS, VM, SQL, VNET, User defined routes, Azure Site Recovery, Traffic Manager, Azure Automation, Storage, ARM Templates, Azure Load balancer, API Gateway and Azure AD) Amazon AWS - VSTS, Jenkins, Github, Octopus Deploy - SaaS/PaaS/Faas/IaaS -

- Experience with PowerShell scripting

- Experience with Azure and 3rd party monitoring tools

- Experience with Windows and Linux-based operating system configuration, automation and management
