Cleartrip - Manager - Financial Planning & Analysis (3-6 yrs)
We are looking for a financial analyst who can act as the bridge between finance and business defining, developing and implementing systems, policies and reporting mechanisms to monitor and drive business decisions and performance. The successful candidate will be strategic, analytical and have the demonstrated ability to effectively monitor performance of a high-growth business including:
1. Performing financial reporting, ad-hoc business analyses and financial modeling. Provide controllership to the business and build processes that augments transparency and improves controls
2. Facilitate financial reviews with business group and work with business leader to ensure effective finance and cost management
3. Work closely with the business team to drive critical business goals and contribute to free cash flows
4. Manage financial planning and analysis, forecasting product lines using the key input levers to the business
5. Continuously monitor financial and business KPIs, highlight trends and analyze causes of unexpected variance; partner with business teams to improve results
6. Facilitate weekly/ monthly/ quarterly reviews (WBR, MBR, QBR) with data analysis and follow through with business leader on actionable items for improving business metrics over a period of time
7. Work with accounting team to drive monthly, quarterly, and annual financial-book close process for the category.
8. Prepare monthly updates for investors & manage ad-hoc/ specific investor queries
Basic Qualifications:
1. MBA Finance from a reputed B-school with relevant finance experience
2. Expertise in working with large amounts of data: facts, figures, and number crunching
3. Advanced knowledge of Excel, and familiarity with databases.
4. Advanced analytical skills and an ability to work independently in a fast-paced, ambiguous and rapidly changing environment
5. Ability to see through the data and analyse it to derive conclusions
6. Proven track record of delivering projects in a timely manner
7. Experience in presenting findings and insights to business leaders
8. Attention to Detail
9. Experience in evaluating expenditure proposals
10. Past experience in designing MIS to facilitate business performance reviewing is a must
