Transition Manager

Essential Functions of the Job:

- Responsible for planning and overseeing the transfer of key information necessary for the support, operation and acceptance of solutions deployed into production. This includes operational readiness, support documentation and acceptance checklists.

- Ensure service transition is planned and executed to schedule, budget and scope

- Build transition plans including change management to deliver to contractual commitments

- Be responsible for coordinating implementation activities, providing effective team leadership, including information flow to and from operations during project work

- Assess, analyze, develop, document and implement changes based on requests for change

- Liaise with Sales and Engineering teams to ensure risk free transition of processes from Client to Managed Services team

- Communication of transition updates to all key stakeholders

Analytical/Decision Making Responsibilities :

- Demonstrate mastery of the process competency principles and practices

- Ability to identify, escalate and manage project risks

Knowledge and Skills Requirements :

- Experience of transitioning F&A preferably RTR processes with personal accountability for delivering to time and cost

- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills

- Ability to work and team effectively with multiple stakeholders to deliver to commitments

- Knowledge of service transition methodology, tools and templates

- Track record of customer focus, based on openness, trust, and delivering on promises

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Demonstrates commitment to processes and standards for transition planning and support

Job Requirements:


- A bachelor's degree preferably a MBA from reputed university


- 5 to 7 years in a Transitions Manager Role in F&A processes preferably RTR

Certification Requirements:

- Project management certification PMP/Prince2/Equivalent is mandator
