cKers Finance - Relationship Manager - Wholesale Credit - Sustainability Investing

cKers Finance (pronounced 'seekers') is an innovative NBFC offering specialized debt products in the renewable energy, green mobility and other sustainability spaces. cKers is looking to recruit a Relationship Manager- (Wholesale Credit- Sustainability), based at New Delhi.

The ideal candidate is someone who is outcome oriented and looking to be part of the wholesale lending team of a young finance institution that is beginning to make waves. The candidate must have handled customer facing roles before and should be adept at financial modelling and financial statement analysis with an interest in renewable energy and green mobility.

We are an innovation led market-maker venture for debt financing of sustainable energy segments in India. We are developing new instruments for project and asset finance and building data around new segment risk metrics.

Position deliverables:

The role envisages the following:

- Originate and manage a wholesale lending portfolio of clients in sustainability spaces

- Manage the credit underwriting / loan investment process

- Creating project/company financial models and carrying out financial statement analysis

- Conducting client background checks and site visits to support credit decisions

- Preparing credit assessment notes and financial model

- Source new clients and get repeat business from existing clients

- Commercial closure and execution of transactions end to end independently

- Deal execution and project/ loan documentation

- Monitoring client operations/key milestones/project cash flows

- Engaging the sustainability ecosystem to create business development opportunities

- Build out a line of fee based business to leverage the lending operations

- Building an in-depth operational understanding of various segments and work with partners to refine lending and monitoring strategies

About you:

You must have:

- An MBA/CA with 8-10 years of experience in wholesale lending

- Hands-on and good inter-personal skills, with a go-getter attitude

- Strong analytical (quantitative as well as qualitative) skills including building financial models

- Attention to detail and accuracy

- Strong B2B customer relationship handling skills

- excellent communication, writing skills, and presentation skills

- Strong financial statement analysis foundation

- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modelling

- Ability to work - hands-on- and multi-task in an energetic environment

It would be nice if you had:

- Experience in renewable energy finance, impact investing or sustainability segments

Base:

- New Delhi, India. (Base location of Bengaluru or Mumbai may be considered as well, after initial 3-6M in Delhi)

- Willingness to travel extensively across India to engage the market
