City Operations Head- Technology Start Up Logistics Transportation

Position Summary: City Operations Head

Reports to. City Business Head

Location: Delhi, Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad, Mumbai

Key Responsibilities:

- Responsible for operations in the city end to end

- Manage the operations team to ensure that business is growing and that there is process compliance

- Will monitor the overall health of the fleet and the business

- Will monitor total deployments as per target and keep track of progress

- Ensures that the supply of fleet is balanced with the demand for in the particular City

- Be the sole point of contact for higher management for operations of the city

- Organize and coordinate operations in ways that ensure maximum productivity, optimal cost, high quality, and robust delivery

- Ensure long term and profitable relationships with business partners and supply retention through effective reward and recognition programs.

- Responsible for reducing operations cost and increasing productivity

- Ensure delivery performance is high and customers are happy.

- Hiring, training, and development of the operations workforce

Ideal Experience and skills

- Must be a high-impact problem-solver and a high-energy execution machine

- Proven experience as operations head or relevant role with the overall experience of 8+ years

- Excellent organizational and leadership skills

- Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities

- Thorough understanding of diverse business processes and strategy development

- Has effectively managed large teams in the past and is objective in approach towards goal-setting and monitoring

- Knowing the local language of the city is essential

- Experience in early-stage startup environments would be an advantage
