Bangalore based FMCG Health & Wellness Beverages startup looking for a P&L Head in Mumbai.

About the Company:

Company is a startup founded by IIM Alumni, with manufacturing and operations currently in Bangalore. Our products are listed in all major retailers across the city (Godrej Nature's Basket, Hypercity, Westside Gourmet, BigBasket, ZopNow, Amazon, Grofers, Foodworld, Namdharis and many more). This network will be extended to Mumbai as well.

About the Role:

The role involves wearing multiple hats: setting up the Ops until it's a well-oiled machine and Business Development, which is ever evolving. We are looking for someone who can demonstrate initiative and responsibility and work independently on the ground. Having been on a similar journey while setting up in Bangalore, this role promises learning that will be hard to come by elsewhere by virtue of the varied responsibilities you will have.

You will have an open playing field with respect to setting up Sales & Distribution, putting processes in place and running a tight shift. We don't believe in hierarchy (don't have one!) and believe in working closely together as a team to achieve our goals.

Some specifics of the role:

Vendor Management:

Identifying, contracting and managing vendors for various functions across the organization

Supply chain Management

1. Demand & Supply planning, Forecasting & Budgeting for your region.

2. Interface with sales team for coordinating logistics & delivery schedule with logistics providers and distributors

3. Identify critical areas, bottle necks & capacity constraints, and prepare procurement plan based on appropriate lead times

Business Development:

Identify strategic partnerships, alliances and other initiatives. Full ownership over implementation of initiatives from start to finish.

Team management:

Manage team members on the ground, sales executives, brand promoters, logistics teams, and leverage technology to support effective working models
