Citrix - Senior Product Designer

Job Description :

- You are a passionate and talented Product Designer who comes with Design experience in enterprise admin, end-user and mobile experience. You have at least 5 years of experience in UX and UI design practices .

Position Overview :

- Designers serve a vital role at Citrix. Efforts that go into creating the experiences and crafting the details in our products help transform the way people work. You will demonstrate subject matter expertise in user-centered design, Lead, and Offer guidance.

Role Responsibilities :

- You will contribute to team processes, lead large projects

- Will offer design guidance to and mentor junior designers

- You will advocate for users and the role of design in the product development process Incorporate and share new techniques based on industry trends

- Will embody and advocate for the mission and goals of Product Design within Citrix and proactively collaborate within the design team and with cross-functional teams.

- You will review and delegate work to design teammates

- Will work closely with user researchers and contribute to research strategies

- You will actively communicate and share information with design teammates to ensure UI/UX pattern alignment across platforms and products

- Will collaboratively problem solve with Product Management and Engineering and will receive, weigh, and integrate feedback from cross-functional teams

- You will play an active role throughout the product lifecycle, including: defining requirements, designing flows, and reviewing builds

- Will proactively provide solutions with strategic intention

- You will understand business goals, strategy, and product offerings

- You will anticipate issues and communicate them as they arise and will offer solutions that consider business goals and the impact across all products

- Will communicate design work within the design team and with cross-functional teams and lead smaller project teams on product features and releases

- You will present designs in a clear, confident, and logical manner and explain rationale for design decisions as it relates to business goals, product offerings, and industry best practices

- Regularly share design iterations and project updates with management and team

- Create wireframes, mock-ups, and prototypes for various platforms (e.g., web, mobile, and desktop

Basic Qualifications :

- You have at least 5 years of user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) design for multiple products, including experience in:User-centered design methods and techniques (e.g., user research and testing, data analysis, customer journey maps, etc.)

- Have a Bachelor's degree in visual design, interaction design, human factors, human-computer interaction, or equivalent professional experience

- You have experience in designing for software applications for multiple platforms (e.g., web, mobile, desktop)

- Have experience in working and collaborating in Agile development environments using management and issue tracking software (e.g., Jira)

- You have demonstrated high proficiency in creating low- to high-fidelity: wireframes, designs concepts, prototypes, and technical documentation using industry tools (e.g., Sketch, Adobe CreativeCloud, InVision, Axure, Microsoft Office).

- You have a strong design portfolio showcasing work that exhibits attention to detail and articulates design decisions

- You posses working knowledge of web technologies and frameworks (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React); experience with front-end coding
