About Financial Resource Management (FRM) team:

The ICG Financial Resource Management (FRM) team provides in-business leadership and subject matter expertise on capital, liquidity, tax and other financial resource management issues with a primary purpose of driving greater efficiency and flexibility of resource consumption. This broad mandate includes driving business strategy for financial resource management, advising senior management and clients on implications of regulatory change and strategic priorities, coordinating advocacy efforts, and leading and participating in cross-business and cross-functional working groups to deliver improved data, calculation and management processes related to capital, liquidity and tax.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Citi is looking to expand its team of highly talented individuals working on development of quantitative analytics related to Citi's capital efficiency management for all Citi Markets businesses. The work covers all of the asset classes including Equity, Credit, Rates, FX and Commodity and all central risk platforms across all major global markets.

A successful candidate will:

- Have a demonstrated ability in building quantitative analytics tools with preference given to those with direct experience in market risk management, portfolio pricing or a working knowledge of market microstructure for at least one asset class

- Use their knowledge of statistics and math to design, implement and validate capital efficiency management related tools

- Use their strong programming skills to collect, manipulate and aggregate data sets and develop prototypes for capital efficiency management and analysis tools

- Use their presentation skills to summarize the outcome of the analytical approaches and methodologies and write up compelling analytical notes for key internal stakeholders

- Be responsible for the accuracy and completeness of all modelling and analysis

Qualifications/Education:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/ Engineering/ Mathematics/ Statistics or similar field from a premier academic institution

Experience:

2-8 years of industry experience

Skills Required:

- Strong analytical and quantitative background, with good knowledge in one or more of the following disciplines - probability, quantitative finance, computer science, numerical methods, statistics, econometrics, time series analysis

- Strong programming and computer science skills

- Good knowledge of C++, Java or Python (any one)

- Good communication skills, both verbal and written

- Ability to work under pressure in a highly professional Front Office environment, with minimal supervision, and in a team environment

- Detail-oriented and with strong organizational skills

- Strong ability to identify, communicate, and advocate for solutions at both high and granular levels

- High degree of self-advocacy, motivation, and development
