Job Description

SITE BUSINESS MANAGER

DESCRIPTION:

Citi Service Centers (CSC) xxxxx is part of the global Citi network of 35 Citi Service Centers (CSCs). The network recommends Site Standards to be followed by each Site. The Site Standards are grouped under four pillars - Site Leadership, People Strategy, Communication and Risk & Controls. By leveraging the Site Standards that have been developed across Citi, a standard governance model is developed to ensure CSCs are efficiently run, have proper controls in place and provide an environment that attracts and develops talent, with opportunities for career growth for all our employees.

The incumbent will be responsible for driving and executing the CSC strategy, in particular in the areas of site governance, people & strategy, communication, culture and community investment.

The CSC Site Business Manager serves as the central point for ensuring consistent practices, resolving business stressors within the site, communicating within and outside of the site, and collecting, translating, and sharing essential decision-making data for the business.

Active engagement of key CSC stakeholders and business/function decision-makers, marketing the CSCs value proposition and partner with functions in the migration of activities into the CSC.

Key Responsibilities:

Site Governance Management:

- Member of the Site Leadership Team, partnering in the execution of strategy, Management Committee meeting coordination and tracking of activities and accomplishments

- Ensure documentation pertaining to the CSC is accurate and relevant to partners and stakeholders

- Partner closely with the SLT, CRS, CTI, GPA, Compliance, Legal and HR in the execution of Strategic Priorities to optimize employee experience at the site

- Manage Site Budget: Employee engagement/Charitable giving

- Maintain Site calendar and activity tracker

- Maintain reporting from CSC and financial overview

- Coordinate site-level resource and location strategy

- Ensure the smooth operation of Business Office activities managing the CSC Site Business Office Communications Analyst

Communications:

- Develop an effective Communications Strategy for both internal and external stakeholders. Maintain a comprehensive and regular cycle of communication at site level.

- Coordinate site visuals and site collateral materials including newsletters, posters and videos

- Create and maintain site distribution lists

- Maintain Intranet sites and ensure they are relevant and up to date

- Work with Site Head to find opportunities for Site Head branding and employee engagement activity

- Creative approach in writing speeches, blogs and other material for the Site Head

- Be the custodian of Citis Global Communication and Brand standards across the CSC

People, Talent Management and Culture:

- Partner with CSC HR and the Site Leadership team on promoting various employee initiatives eg. reviews site VOE results; creates working committees to address people issues at the site; Sponsors site diversity networks and VOE committees.

- Partners with CSC HR on delivery and implementation of key Site level People Priorities (eg recruitment, onboarding, learning, culture, internal mobility, employee retention and recognition programs)

- Coordinate common, efficient and effective new employee onboarding and maintains a site-wide new hire training programs.

- Selects and champions site Social Responsibility initiatives. Tracks participation and publicize accomplishments.

- Leads focus on employment attrition efforts along with managers and HR.

- Coordinate Senior Management visits to the site ensuring accurate representation of the attributes of the CSC.

Community Investment Agenda (External Relationships and Brand Management):

- With the Site Head establish working relationships with local business associations, government agencies, colleges & universities

- Partner closely in initiatives with recruitment/grad recruitment

- Oversee community engagement

- Represent Citi at community events and at member business association meetings

- Continually learn and assess global Citi messaging and programs and apply messaging to the site

- Coordination of branding activities ensuring compliance with Citis brand guidelines

CSC Network:

- Partner with CSC APAC Business Office Head in execution of Network strategic priorities

- Matrix report into APAC O&T CAO working to fulfil Network objectives and projects

- Partner with local GPA team in highlighting significant CSC achievements

EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND EXPERIENCE:

- Bachelors/ Masters Degree in English, Journalism, Communications or equivalent

- Overall 10+ years of experience in communications, public relations and event management

- Additional experience in writing/ editorial work and social responsibility space is highly desirable.

KNOWLEDGE/ PROFICIENCY/ SKILLS:

- Internal communications, event management, fundamentals of writing, creative application - composition, layout, and copy for digital and non-digital communication, basics of photography, internet/ intranet applications

- Demonstrable experience of influencing and leading across a matrixed organization

- Ability to work independently and take personal initiative

- Develops and maintains internal relationships

- Develops relationships with key stakeholders to maintain awareness of organizational issues and priorities - Workgroup Leads, Business Unit Heads, Governance Team, Corporate Affairs/ Citizenship Team, etc.

- Solicits information from cross-functional resources (i.e. subject matter expert) to accomplish work

- Presents deliverables to the appropriate stakeholders for review to assure quality and accuracy

- Working with a multinational bank would be an added advantage

REPORTING:

- The position will report into CSC Xxxxx Site Head.
