Job Purpose:
Execute all business development and licensing activities through partner identification to evaluation and negotiations for respiratory products globally. Enhance the respiratory portfolio and contribute to the growth and profitability of the business in line with desired objectives for respiratory therapy. Assist the manager to facilitate decision making in product selection and evaluation.
Key Accountabilities:
I. Proactively identify and connect with new companies to establish potential product partnerships across the globe, for respiratory therapy
II. Evaluate the identified partners to shortlist the best among them, in terms of most favourable current and future business perspective, fulfilling respiratory portfolio gaps as per company aspirations. Help building the right portfolio
III. Drive internal deal evaluations to get all allied cross functional teams aligned on the deal structure and details
IV. Drive the business negotiations with selected partner and internal negotiations team, to ensure favourable signing terms for Cipla
V. Assist in the product selection and identification process to proactively shortlist opportunities within global respiratory
Key requirements:
- Respiratory experience will be preferred
- Regulated market experience will be preferred
- 3-10 years of experience with exposure to pharma operations required for understanding the techno-commercial aspect of the role
- Good analytical skills
- Good communication and negotiations skills
- Preferably worked in 2-3 different pharma departments such as (Regulatory, Project Management, Loan licensing/ contract manufacturing etc.)
