Job Title: Demand Planner

Division : SCM

Job Purpose

Analyse and integrate the demand / sales forecast from respective region, manage FG inventory for the region by independently assessing the integrity of the forecast and assumptions, documenting gaps, analysing past trends to prepare rolling demand forecast

Accountabilities

I. Collate and process demand / sales forecast as per the standard process to ensure timely forecasts are sent to Head for review

II. Perform the forecast review process to identify errors, highlight deviations in order to continuously improve the demand forecast accuracy

III. Execute the demand forecasting process for new product in coordination with sales, IPD, CPM etc. to estimate the demand both pre and post launch

IV. Track and monitor key metrics for FG inventory levels for the region and manage actions for those materials (liquidating stock, selling to outside parties)

V. Monitor the impact of promotions, competitor activity and other events on sales and ensure that the sales forecasting systems are used effectively

Education Qualification

MBA

Relevant Work Experience :

- 3-6 years of experience in sales forecasting/ demand estimation preferably in pharma domain

Competencies/Skills :

- Communication Skills (clarity of thought, comprehension)

- Likely potential for growth

- Job / Product / Technical Knowledge / Pharma domain knowledge

- Presentation & Interpersonal skills (If applicable)

- Managerial or People Management skills

- Safety awareness (If applicable)

- Relevance of Previous Experience

- Comprehension, Analytical & Problem solving abilities

- Productivity & Result Orientation (If applicable)

- Attitude

Qualification fitment :
