Analytics Consultant


Role Summary :

- The Analytics Consultant - Pharma / Biotech datasets will provide integral support to our ongoing client projects. The Analytics Associate will leverage quantitative analysis, secondary data and SQL skills to query data lakes to answer business questions for our clients.

- The associate will also synthesize key insights from analysis to provide strategic recommendations and implications, as appropriate.

- A successful candidate will have experience in the Pharma / Biotech industry, a background in data analysis and managing data integration projects, a proactive and entrepreneurial mindset, and a demonstrated track record of generating impactful insights that help enable successfully project outcomes for clients.

Key Responsibilities :

- Analyze Pharmaceutical commercial datasets using SQL and cloud-based data analytics tools to provide insights that solve client problems

- Synthesize and form recommendations using data visualization tools (QuickSight, Tableau, ThoughtSpot, etc.) and PowerPoint slides

- Provide findings and final recommendations to the client via written communication and formal presentations

- Understand client business issues, operating business rules, data, and standard operating procedures

- Develop client relationships and serve as a key point of contact on aspects of projects

- Build individual and company knowledge related to new and emerging tools, technologies, and analytical methods.

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's or master's degree required in any discipline with a strong record of academic success in quantitative and analytic coursework such as finance applied mathematics, management science, data science, statistics, econometrics or engineering

- 2-5 years of relevant post-collegiate job experience

- Experience working with Pharmaceutical commercial data sets preferred

- Intermediate to Advanced SQL Knowledge, experience working with cloud technologies (AWS, GCP, AZURE), and Business Intelligence tools (QuickSight, Tableau, ThoughtSpot) preferred

- Familiarity with onshore/offshore staffing model preferred

- High motivation, good work ethic, maturity, and personal initiative

- Strong oral and written communication skills

- Empathy, adaptability, and emotional intelligence

- Close attention to detail, with a quality-focused mindset

- Self-discipline for planning and organizing tasks

- Aptitude for, and enjoyment of, working in teams
