JOB DESCRIPTION

Title : Assistant Manager - Finance

Reports to : CFO

Location : Bangalore

The position reports to the CFO and will be responsible for Chiratae's financial and fiscal management aspects, assisting in the administrative, fund management, accounting and budgeting efforts. He will also be responsible to work with the finance team in strengthening the controls and procedures within the operational and financial framework to support the growth of the Fund. The main responsibilities include :-

1. Analytics - Working along with the team in performing requisite analytics both at Fund and Portfolio level

2. Valuations - Working with the controller, independent valuers and auditors in the quarterly and annual valuations of portfolio investments of the funds.

3. Statutory reporting: Understanding the statutory reporting for the funds, managers and advisory entities in order to contribute at the time of need

4. Stakeholder Management - The incumbent has to work with various stakeholders namely - Banks, administrators, trustees, auditors and the Deal Team

5. Accounting and management - Partnering with the Finance Team at Chiratae in management of accounting and audits of offshore and domestic funds, managers and advisors.

Desired Skills, Experience and Competencies

1. CA/CFA/CWA or MBA Finance from prominent institution with minimum 2~3 years- experience in Finance function

2. Experience of working in PE/VC Firms in India or Big 4 Consulting Firms in Advisory roles will be an advantage

3. Analytical and detail oriented

4. Excellent knowledge of financial statements, operational metrics, accounting, taxation.

5. High on integrity and ownership driven

6. High level of Learnability and though process aligned to business will be useful

7. Highly motivated, hardworking and self-driven
