Position Overview: Initially, the CTO will be responsible for (A) optimizing, enhancing, and scaling the product. You will have the opportunity to build and lead a technical team that will transform the customer experience. At its core, the CTO will develop future platform architecture strategy, including functional, technical integration and deployment on a cloud-based solution such as Amazon Web Services. We are not only looking for technical qualifications, but also the ability to hire and mentor a team.
Looking for:
- Experience working with HR Tech technologies highly preferred
- 10+ years in software development, with at least 5+ years in building open and closed architecture solutions
- Hand-on popular full-stack web development in popular technologies
- Skilled enough to code hands on in most of these technologies - ASP.NET, MVC, SQL, Mongo DB, Node JS, Angular, Python, R and/or other
- Actively learning and working on new emerging tech such as - voice & facial recognition, ML and AI
- Sound understanding of customer, user interface & experience
- CI/CD and well-architected approach
- Dedication to systemic thinking and a demonstrable history of continuous process improvement
- Ability to develop and embed a feedback loop to experiment and evaluate new features added to the platform
- Ability to scope, budget and efficiently and effectively utilize available resources
- Ability to hire, develop and nurture a core product engineering team
